Deputy Ward Manager in the North Wales Vascular Network
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Deputy Ward Manager with a specialist interest in vascular care to join Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board's North Wales Vascular Network.
The tertiary unit for major arterial surgery is located at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire. We are a dedicated vascular ward with a state of the art Hybrid Theatre (to include Interventional Radiology facilities). The Health Board has invested in a team of consultant surgeons, interventional radiologists, middle grade doctors, two new IR suites and a dedicated vascular ward. Catering for acutely ill patients from across North Wales.
Main duties of the job
The North Wales Vascular Network provides services to a population of approximately 700,000 residents. After the establishment of the hub, spoke services will be provided at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, and Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
