Band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Technical Instructor- Wrexham Flying Start (22.5 hours for 9 months)
We are looking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapy Technical Instructor on a fixed term basis to join our well established Flying Start Service.
Wrexham Flying Start is a programme funded by Welsh Government to support children aged 0-4yrs to have the best start in life and reach their full potential. We are a multi-disciplinary team who provide coordinated and intensive support to children and their families and work closely with partner agencies to ensure the needs of the individual children and their families are met.
Main duties of the job
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 9 MONTHS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

As a Speech and Language Therapy Technical Instructor, you will have specific responsibilities in carrying out delegated activities/therapy independently with selected children, working under regular supervision of specialist Speech & Language Therapists, and supporting them with appropriate clerical and administrative duties. In addition, you will be required to contribute to data collection, service evaluation, training and development.
