This post is fixed term / secondment Until 31st March 2026 due to funding.

Responsible for management of the administration team and operational support for the Medicine Directorate. Providing business support to manage agreed targets set out by the Welsh Government in relation to key performance indicators eg. Referral to treatment, ministerial targets etc. Monitor progress of administrative key performance indicators and work collaboratively to deliver operational and strategic objectives.

Working closely with other members of the Management Team, the post-holder has direct day to day management responsibility for the administrative, clerical and secretarial staff within the team. The post holder will be expected to identify and implement new and improved ways of working to support the directorate and the Management Team and to promote achievement of key operational and strategic objectives for the directorate. The post holder will be expected to produce routine and ad hoc information to support the monitoring of quality indicators and the achievement of key directorate objectives.
