Porter (Band 2) - 6 month fixed term
HMP BERWYN, WREXHAM, NORTH WALES -37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
We are looking for a porter to support the Health and Wellbeing team. You will have a good standard of education and have portering experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
You will:
- Work as a member of the Portering Team, providing a comprehensive, safe and efficient Portering Service within the Offender Healthcare Service.
- Transfer service users, equipment and supplies between various locations in accordance with security measures, protocols and procedures.
- Provide support to other team members as and when required.
Portering experience is essential as is a willingness to undertake any relevant training.
We are looking for someone with a pro-active can do approach who can be adaptable to changing service demands.
