Children's Outpatient's Department is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small friendly team. As a department we offer a range of services to children and families and constantly seek ways to develop our service. This is an exciting opportunity for those wishing to learn and develop skills in a supportive environment.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this role

To assist registered nursing staff in providing a high and consistent level of holistic care. Maintaining the dignity and equality of the patient and provision of suitable play/distraction
Reporting to a registered nurse if there is cause for concern with a patients physical health, mental and emotional wellbeing.
To undertake identified allocated tasks in relation to the care environment, and in the relation to the direct care of the patient/client group as identified by the nurse in charge.
Obtaining and testing specimens in concordance with the care plan and reporting and recording results. On completion of NVQ unit or equivalent course.
