We're looking for a passionate and driven Band 6 Nurse to step into the role of Deputy Ward Manager on Cunliffe Ward--a dynamic, fast-paced 25-bed Renal unit, including 4 Renal HDU beds.

Main duties of the job
In the absence of the designated Band 7 nurse with 24-hour responsibility, the post holder will assume accountability for the ward or equivalent area of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:o Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programmes.o Manage and supervise a team of staff during the Ward Sister's absence.o Deliver consistently high standards of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.o Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based and aligned with current best practices, from admission through to discharge.
Professional Development: You will be supported by the Ward Manager, Practice Development Nurse, and Matron to pursue both professional and personal growth. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; however, applications are welcomed from both Welsh and English speakers.
