An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Dental contracting team.
You will work as an integrated dental contracting team member through the provision of clerical duties and acting as the first point of contact for the Dental Access Portal enquiries.
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to use your own initiative to solve problems as they arise.
You will have experience in working within a team, dealing with patients and the public, be competent in IT in the workplace.
Main duties of the job
The role will support the management of primary care dental contracts within the Health Board and act as the first point of contract for the Dental Access Portal (DAP), providing advice or escalating concerns.
The role will support the co-ordinator in identifying issues and recommending enhancements with the Dental Access Portal.
The role will provide support and advice to primary care contractors on operational and contractual matters relating to the Dental Access Portal.
The post holder will be required to work collaboratively with key colleagues within North Wales Dental Services and across a wide range of stakeholders.
The post holder will assist the dental contracting team in ensuring the achievement of primary care dental targets as determined nationally and locally within available resources, providing monitoring reports as required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
