An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Housekeeper to work as part of our friendly and motivated team on Dulas Ward.
The main element of the role is ensuring the delivery of infection prevention hygiene standards and ensuring a clean clinical environment for our patients and visitors. Being responsible for the, co-ordination and delivery of catering, organising minor maintenance, ordering and organisation of stores, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient's needs, as determined by the Unit Sister, the successful candidate will ensure the ward is a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff .
The post holder will be required to work closely with contractors and support services departments. He/she will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies in liaison with the ward Manager.
The successful applicant must a have a willingness to learn new skills and undertake further training if required. The post holder would ideally have some Oracle and Stores experience although full training will be given.

- Good IT skills
- Excellent organisation and coordinating skills
- Be able to work independently and prioritise work
- Adhere to BCU values
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
