Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Appointment Clerks/Clerical Officer to work within the Acute Paediatric Department at Gwynedd Hospital, Bangor to provide a professional, efficient and effective booking service for a variety of acute paediatrics outpatient clinics.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate an ability use own initiative and the ability to prioritise conflicting demands.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of a small appointment team, supporting the delivery of Acute Paediatrics Service. This will entail working closely with other team members as well as working closely with other department/teams including clinic prep staff, medical secretaries, outpatient department staff, medical staff, specialist nurses and with admin Team Leaders and Managers throughout the service to deliver the access targets and a patient focused booking service.
A pleasant customer focused manner and the ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
