Job summary

Examples of areas include medicine, surgery including pre-operative clinics, mental health, aseptic services and primary care.

You will have mentorship from experienced advanced and consultant pharmacists in a variety of clinical areas. You will be supported to develop your prescribing role and to gain core advanced level credentialing with the RPS. We have good links with local universities which provide research and development opportunities. We support further education through advanced and extended practice funding.

Our clinical pharmacy team provides a high quality, patient-centred service ensuring safe and effective use of medicines across the integrated health community. The implementation of the Better Meds electronic prescribing system in the next 12 months will transform our way of working. As a pharmacist working in various multi-disciplinary teams, you will deliver excellent pharmaceutical care and medicines optimisation to achieve the best outcome for our patients.
