Job summary

We are excited to be offering a permanent, 0.9wte 8a Senior Clinical Psychology post, for suitably qualified, skilled and experienced applicants, in the CAMHS team covering Gwynedd and Anglesey. We are a friendly, experienced and dynamic multi-disciplinary team and are based in a beautiful part of North Wales. Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide a service to children and young people (0-18 years old), and their families, where the young person has severe mental health difficulties. They will be expected to develop expertise in eating disorders. The post holder will conduct assessments, develop working formulations, and will offer appropriate interventions to the young person and their family. They will work closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team, and will offer consultation and supervision to their colleagues as appropriate. They would be expected to take opportunities to display leadership in relation to service improvement initiatives, and would also be supported in conducting appropriate audits and research. There will also be an expectation to be involved in the teaching and supervision of trainees on the North Wales Clinical Psychology programme.

With developments in Wales, this is a good time to be joining our team. Please feel free to approach us for further information. We would consider this role for a development.
