Job summary

This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 9 months until 10th January 2026 to meet the needs of the service.

Looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Want a job where no two days are the same?We need highly motivated and suitably dedicated personnel for a position as a Theatre Assistant working in Ysbyty Gwynedd Operating Theatres.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for providing support for the delivery of high standard care to patients within the theatre complex and to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the theatre.

The post holder will provide safe transportation service for all patients coming to theatre and back to the ward area and also within the operating theatre complex.The post holder will ensure that care is of a high standard, is non-discriminatory and non-prejudicial and will carry out all tasks in accordance with unit policies and procedures.
