Job summary

To provide an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective appointment booking service for Specialist Eating Disorder Service (SpeED) and out of area beds .

Main duties of the job

Provide 'first point of access' administration for all referrals into the department.

Use of local patient administration systems to manage all referrals, waiting lists and appointments for all patients in a timely manner.

Ensure that all communications with members of the public, staff and any other agency are handled confidentially and professionally.

Ensure all documentation is appropriately completed and filed accordingly.

Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Receive record and manage incoming mail

Any other duties as appropriate as delegated by Team leader or Admin Manager.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
