Job summary
An opportunity for an enthusiastic, professional and motivated Podiatrist to be professionally supported in developing a robust foundation in all aspects of Podiatry: assessments, follow up, diabetic foot ulceration, nail surgery & MSK. We are very keen to enable, fund and support professional development an training for the right person.
The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner following professional codes of conduct and ethics carrying a varied caseload which can include patients with complex needs with additional supervision. We aim to rotate you through all aspects of Podiatry and help you find a direction for clinical focus.
Advertised as a full time post , however we are willing to discuss any part time requirements
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to service developments within their department which can include attending meetings and participation in audit, service evaluation and researching evidence based practice. Work in partnership with patients and other health professionals as appropriate to achieve their optimum health outcome. The post holder will be required to work closely with all service areas as appropriate to ensure the delivery of a fully integrated service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
