Job summary

Applications are welcomed from both new and existing Band 5 Physiotherapists.

An opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 5 Physiotherapist based in Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.

All core rotations are covered in both acute and community hospital settings - these include MSK, COTE, Neuro, Paeds, Community, T&O and Respiratory.

The Band 5's will join a large supportive innovative team. Some rotations offer the opportunity to work in the community hospitals in Gwynedd and Ynys Mon.

The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8A as a clinical advanced practitioner. Service improvement and development is encouraged and all staff have access to regular supervision and training.

This is an opportunity to work in large established and supportive team in a beautiful part of the UK.

Main duties of the job

To assess and treat patients from a designated caseload, some may have complex physical and psychological problems.

To provide a diagnosis and plan and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

To hold responsibility for own caseload working with out direct supervision.

To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.

To ensure a high standard of care for each patient working with patients, families or carers, multi-agency teams and disciplines involved.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
