Job summary
This post is working with the primary care occupational therapy teams in Wrexham and Flintshire.
The post holder will work with occupational therapists to deliver patient centred care and rehabilitation within the patient's own homes. The clinical caseload is varied providing excellent job satisfaction.
The post holder will work with a large and experienced team, providing informal and formal supervision and development opportunities.
Main duties of the job
The post holder would be responsible for delivering treatment programmes with the patients that have been devised by the Occupational Therapist, as well as carrying out routine administrative duties.
The post holder will be fundamental in the patient's rehabilitation journey, facilitating them to achieve independence.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- OCN therapy assistants qualification or equivalent e.g. NVQ at level 3
- Grades A to C in GCSE or equivalent qualification in a language - Welsh or English

- Recognised qualification in mathematics

- Food hygiene certificate

- Considerable and substantial experience of working with people with a disability, illness or injury or as an OT assistant.
