Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiast and motivated individual who will be responsible for the provision of day to day administration within the Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC) across Wrexham and Flintshire.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and have the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels to provide an efficient, comprehensive administrative service to senior staff within the team.
Main duties of the job
Undertake any secretarial and clerical duties required by the Senior Leadership Team including any non-clinical administration duties as requested by the team.
Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft office) is also required as the post holder will also be undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the Urgent Primary Care Centre Service, including data inputting. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage.
The post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with GPs, Practice Managers, Health Board Managers and other staff in person and in writing, with courtesy and discretion. Promptly and efficiently exercising own judgement to resolve patient queries within their professional constraints.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
