Job summary

Are you a qualified Dental Nurse who is looking for a fresh challenge OUTSIDE of a surgery environment?

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Dental Nurses to join our North Wales Dental Helpline. Hours of work are full or part time covering primarily Thursdays, Fridays, aswell as weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will join a team of Dental Nurses/Advisers offering telephone dental health triage to patients who are in need of urgent dental care, which includes booking patients onto urgent access sessions across North Wales.

You will have experience of working within a busy practice and understand the demands this environment brings, as well as excellent communication skills.

As a qualified Dental Nurse/Adviser you will be based within the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Rhyl, with the opportunity to work out of other locations as relevant.

The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.

You must be registered with the General Dental Council.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will primarily be required to undertake triage duties on the North Wales Dental Helpline. Additionally in order to maintain clinical competences, may be required to travel within the North Wales Community Dental Service (NWCDS), as appropriate. Travel expenses will be paid.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
