Job summary
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Community Nursery Nurse to join our Health Visiting Service in theDenbighshire area, North Wales. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will facilitate one to one, group and community work that aims to address Health inequalities in partnership with the wider multi-skilled team. He/she will take a key role in delivering parent support, health promotion and programmes of care. He/she will provide a service to families as identified in the needs assessment carried out by the Health Visitor and undertake planned packages of support through implementing and evaluating planned programmes of care. In addition, the post holder will contribute to the public health role in line with government public health initiatives.
The Health Board offers an Induction Course and ongoing Clinical Supervision and support from its Safeguarding Children Team and opportunities for in house training.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
