Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a member of the Research and Development team in BCUHB. The role will provide research administrative support for staff across the organisation in order to manage, with the support of the Research team, all research governance and processes which need completing on behalf of the organisation. It is expected that the role will be worked from Ysbyty Gwynedd mostly with the possibility of working on other sites. The role will provide a comprehensive administrative/secretarial support in the Research and Development Department and provide advice and support to all staff within the organisation who are involved in undertaking research. This post will also develop your personal understanding of research, and give you an opportunity to work across BCUHB with a range of different staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
To assist with the co-ordination of a portfolio of clinical research across BCUHB. As an integrated member of the research team, provide all aspects of operational research delivery support including administrative and data management support, ensuring compliance with Research Governance requirements and contribution to the delivery of the local and national research agenda.
Regular travel between NHS and other sites within BCUHB will be required.
