Job summary
The post provides the opportunity for a forward thinking and experienced individual to develop and implement a safe, sound and supportive service that embraces the provision of holistic care. With a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary working and the principals laid out in the Recovery Model, you will need to be an innovative thinker able to form effective relationships.
You must be a registered nurse, possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of multi-professional team. You will also need to have a working knowledge of psychosocial interventions, risk assessment and management, and the ability to explore issues relating to the impact of health and social needs on mental health and well-being.
Well established professional roles exist within Betsi Cadwaladar University Health Board, as do supervision and peer support networks. A strong emphasis upon personal and professional development is supported by access to education and training, and through protected time for personal development.

The role is part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team comprised of Community Psychiatric Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Nurse, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors and Health Care Support Workers. The team serves and supports the Adult Population of Flintshire , by adopting a recovery based model aimed at empowering our service users.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
