Job summary

Reporting to the Integrated Substance Misuse Manager, you will lead the psychosocial team to deliver evidenced based psychosocial group interventions that promote recovery for service users in custody. You will supervise and line manage B5 staff and Support workers whilst working within a multi-disciplinary team of health and wellbeing professionals, deliver high quality services to service users

Main duties of the job

As part of the Healthcare Team you will provide healthcare to those in custody, whilst working flexibly to meet the changing needs of the services across Primary Care, Integrated Substance Misuse & Mental Health. You will also contribute to an on-going programme of development to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained, whilst fostering effective working relationships with NOMS, prison colleagues and other stakeholders.

This post is key to the development and delivery of high quality, evidence based health and wellbeing services to give prisoners access to interventions and support equitable to those provided by the NHS in the community.
