We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse with significant experience to join our Emergency Care Team as Matron for AMU SSW, AMU Assessment and Anti-Coag/DVT service .
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of managing the demands of the acute medicine. You will need to demonstrate passion and commitment for leading on the delivery of high quality patient care as well as possessing enthusiasm with motivation skills to develop your Nursing Team.
Main duties of the job
As Emergency Care Matron in Wrexham, you will support the Head of Nursing in leading the strategic and operational Nursing Practice across Emergency Care, focusing on the admission areas, but also supporting the Emergency Department.
The EC Matron in Wrexham will work as part of the senior triumerate Management Team for both AMUs, which will also include a Lead Manager and Clinical Lead.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Nurse Leader with a passion for Emergency Medicine. You will require the ability to inspire and lead innovation and improvement in Nursing practice which will improve the Patient journey across EC.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
