We have Resourcing teams in each of our IHC teams. Reporting into each Associate Director of People Service, the Resourcing team provides Recruitment, Temporary staffing and Rostering support.
Our Resourcing teams will work closely with recruiting managers across the Health Board and also our NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership who provides transactional recruitment and payroll support.
Main duties of the job
- To lead on the development, implementation and successful delivery of the Health Board's (IHC specific) Recruitment and Retention strategy and action plan.
- To act as the IHC lead for temporary staffing working with the service lines to reduce the Health Communities' temporary staffing spend.
- To act as the IHC lead for second tier staff, ensuring that the IHC/ Health Board has assurance around compliance with training, legislation policy and governance.
- To understand the current recruitment trends and markets to identify the impact upon the IHC areas.
- Advise managers on how to develop and implement innovative approaches when recruiting staff is a challenge.
- To work as internal/external consultant on agreeing strategies for the Recruitment and Resourcing of staff
- Working with our Academy teams, develop partnerships with external partners such as - schools/local colleges, to promote the IHC/Health Board as a great place to work
- To design and deliver Recruitment and Resourcing Events plans in response to workforce demands
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business.
