Main duties of the job

You will receive a specialty specific induction programme that is supported by a competency framework for you to complete alongside a dedicated Practice Development Nurse, as well as be provided opportunities to further develop your nursing career through courses including Mentorship in Practice, intravenous additives, venepuncture and cannulation, recording and interpretation of ECG's. Within the ED, you may also undertake Advanced Life Support training, Paediatric Intermediate Life Support as well as develop your skill in trauma management via the undertaking of a dedicated trauma course with Team Trauma Wales.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
