Are you a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist looking to start your career in a supportive & forward-thinking environment? We have an opportunity for a Band 5 SLT to join our Head & Neck Cancer & Voice Speech and Language Therapy Service within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
This post offers experience across a range of in & out-patient settings within both uni- and multi-disciplinary providing a balanced & supportive start to your career.
You will deliver a range of interventions, for adults with Speech and Language Therapy needs related to Head and Neck Cancer and benign ENT conditions.ABUHB is a well-respected & renowned for Head and Neck cancer surgery, this post will involve work with patients pre and post surgery/ oncology treatment as both inpatients & outpatients.
You will be part of a SLT & wider multidisciplinary cancer team committed to person-centred, evidence-based care. This post provides an excellent foundation for developing clinical skills, including holistic assessment & intervention to support communication, well being, independence, self-management & evidence-based care. There will be opportunities to develop skills in dysphagia management.
Our clinical & professional leadership team continues to develop service quality, embed best practice & enhance access to specialist assessment pathways, including VFSS. We support ongoing learning through CPD opportunities, professional networks & supervision.
