We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly team.
This is a permanent vacancy for an accredited checking and medicines management Pharmacy Technician based at Royal Gwent Hospital (RGH).
We are looking for a conscientious and adaptable individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our pharmacy team in delivering a high quality clinical service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
Participation in weekend and bank holiday rotas will be required
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to become a valued member of our team. This role requires someone with strong multitasking abilities who is capable of working across multiple sections effectively.
This is a varied role requiring you to provide medicines management support to medical wards and dispensary sessions.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in Medicines Management
- Accredited Checking Technician Qualification - we also welcome those currently working towards it.
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or equivalent) and GPhC registration
