This is an exciting opportunity to join our Organisational Development Team. The post holder will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation a range of organisational projects that contribute to the successful delivery of the three Year Plan. and the Health Board's 10 year vision 'Gwent 35'
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
o Design, deliver and evaluate organisational development programmes in line with the organisation's strategic prioritieso Manage and contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of core organisational processes . These may include Statutory Mandatory Training, Corporate Induction, PADR, culture change programmes or Values and Behaviours.o Work in partnership with leaders and teams across the organisationo Triage requests for support from the OD team to assess the level of support an individual or team requireso Manage projects in collaboration with colleagues from the OD Team. These may include agendas relating to staff engagement, recognition, retention, career development, Statutory and Mandatory Training, PADR, leadership or culture and behaviour change.o Design and conduct effective monitoring and evaluation processes to promote learning, service improvement and compliancewith audit or regulatory requirements.o Contribute to large scale cultural and behaviour change programmeso Design deliver and evaluate workshopso Line manage staff in line with the organisational policies and procedures.o Coach individuals and teamso Support and embed the organisation's Values and Behaviours Frameworko Promote psychological safety, trust, collaboration and the principles of compassionate leadership throughout the organisation.o Engage and work collaboratively with clinical and corporate teams to support and enhance the core objectives of the organisation.

Professional Leadership/Management Ensure delivery of a portfolio of OD projects in a planned in a methodical way. Liaise with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to ensure Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles are embedded in all Learningand OD interventions and robust equality impact assessments are undertaken. Lead, develop and empower direct reports in line with the all Wales Compassionate Principles and Organisational Values to facilitate aculture of growth and innovation delivering high quality outcomes. Work in collaboration with key stakeholders locally and nationally to maximise Learning and OD opportunities. Lead on the design, development, delivery and implementation of Learning and OD initiatives to meet the needs of the service andservice users. Contribute to the responsiveness of OD in relation to organisational strategic and operational plans. Represent ABUHB as appropriate at conference/meeting etc. as required.

Work collaboratively with Senior Organisation Development Practitioners to ensure OD activity is intuitive and responsive toOrganisational and national strategy. Work collaboratively with clinical / non clinical leads and divisional education practitioners to support the OD agenda. Review ways of working ensuring they are accessible and engage in mediums that are appropriate for different staff groups maximisingthe use of digital technology where this is appropriate. Manage and maintain internal quality assurance processes. Identify, analyse and interpret data to enhance the effective design, delivery and evaluation of OD projects. Plan and prioritise own work, to ensure effective support to all areas and delivery of key objectives, monitoring, evaluating and adjustingaccordingly. Work with OD coordinator and OD officer roles to ensure effective service provision.
Communications Using and understanding complex information, multi-factorial strands of communication both internal and external to the organisation.This will involve being able to use a variety of communication styles, to overcome communication barriers and achieve effective delivery,for example qualitative data resulting from evaluations and questionnaires. Design and present specialist training courses on complex issues eg Oracle Learning Management system, Corporate Induction, Statutoryand Mandatory Training to groups of around 20- 25 people. Foster positive, collegial relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team and multi-agency partners. e.g. meetings, conferences and careers events. Provide leadership and direction across situations where complex ideas or concepts need to be conveyed and implemented across theorganisation in easily understood language. For example, supporting individuals and managers with easily accessible information e.g.Accessible Induction resources, accessible mandatory and statutory training information. Develop close working relationships with the trade unions and professional bodies to facilitate good partnership working to enable thenew organisation to modernise the workforce and meet business objectives. The post holder will provide support and guidance sessions to individuals and teams where a need for staff development has beenidentified. This will require highly developed motivational, negotiating, coaching or facilitation skills.
Analytical The post holder will analyse and interpret data, some of which will be complex in nature such as training need analysis and pertinentsurveys. Ensure robust systems of governance (clinical, staff, audit and information) and risk management are in place.
Human resources Line Management of the administrator roles within their remit. This will include coaching, resource planning, performance management,appraisals and support with team and individual development. Line manager staff in adherence with mandatory, statutory and CPD requirements of the Health Board.
