A vacancy has become available, for a highly motivated
Band 6Scrub /ODP Practitioner , to join our team and work within our dynamic theatre department atYsbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital.
The role is an excellent opportunity to advance your clinical leadership skills and support education for team members within the surgical setting. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills who can empower and inspire a team.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to support the Band 7 Lead and work alongside them to provide leadership within the (remove post operative care and change to-) Theatre unit in YYF. They will work as part of the ABUHB Theatre team and be actively involved in providing high standards of quality care and promote safety within the clinical environment.
The successful candidate will have considerable Band 5 experience in working in (remove Recovery and change to-) Scrub, and must be able to act as a positive, professional, role model in promoting clinical excellence; ensuring practice is patient centred and evidence based. Full support will be provided for the successful candidate following a PADR and Individual Learning Plan.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
