There is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic experienced Health Visitor to work as a Specialist Practitioner for Gypsy, Roma Travellers and Ethnic Minorities families within the Newport borough.
This post is fixed term / Secondment until 31st March 2028 to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver an intensive Healthy Child Wales programme to families from Gypsy/Roma and other ethnic minority background in need of support and liaising with partner agencies as required. The post holder will hold a defined clinical caseload within the borough in addition to their specialist role responsibilities so will need excellent communication and time management skills.
The post holder will also provide leadership within the Early Years Health Visiting team working closely with the operational manager and be integral to service development of this role.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
