To be responsible and accountable for assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care programmes for the management of a wide range of patients with lower limb complications in line with national lymphoedema and all Wales Tissue Viability Policy and procedure.Manage a clinical caseload of clients with complex nursing needs using evidence based, client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in a variety of settings, through Primary and Secondary Care Services.To provide expert specialist support, advice and education to healthcare professionals, patients and relatives/carers in the assessment and management of leg wounds and chronic oedema, ensuring the delivery of evidence based best practice.To maintain up-to-date expert knowledge and skills in lower limb management.To provide leadership, supervision and mentorship for junior staff and to deputise for clinical lead as required.
