Rapid Response - Health Care Support Worker

Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team at Newport Community Resource Team - Rapid Response service. Applicants are invited from those who hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications and/or those with previous experience.
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, carers and other professionals. You must be an excellent team player, have high levels of motivation and enthusiasm for working in a demanding but rewarding service. You will be joining a team that is passionate and focused on keeping patients at home achieving excellence in care delivery.
We are looking for someone that is able to support team with venepuncture, ECG and other requirements to meet patients and team needs.
The successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The willingness and ability to work in a constantly changing environment is also an essential requirement.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting team with day to day tasks for need of patient
- Completing venepuncture and other tests required
- Team player and supporting of team
- Answering telephone and signposting
- Updating documentation
- Lone working for needs of service
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
