Job summary
An Opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to work within Acute Medical Unit (AMU) in Royal Gwent Hospital
If you are a HCSW with medical experience and would like an opportunity to work in this dynamic fast paced department this is the position for you.
You will be responsible for contributing to the smooth running of the department, ensuring high quality care is provided to the patients accessing the service. The post holder will need to have excellent assessment skills and be able to deliver treatment as planned. The HCSW will work closely with Nursing staff as well as Medical Consultants, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. You will need to be proactive and work on your initiative, whilst demonstrating excellent clinical skills
