Job summary

This post holder will work as part of the Primary Care Mental Health Support Service (PCMHSS) Administration team with a particular emphasis on ensuring the smooth running of the centralised telephone booking function.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide regular administrative support to the whole PCMHSS team when required and as directed with minimal supervision.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential

  • Good standard of education to level of GCSE or NVQ equivalent.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, some of which are non-routine activities such as answering queries, progress chasing, task related problem solving through experience and training to vocational level 3 or demonstrable experience.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages including excel, word and outlook.

Desirable

  • Customer Service training
  • Knowledge of PCMHSS
  • Knowledge of WG (Welsh Government) guidelines in relation to waiting times

Experience

Essential

  • Previous clerical experience and administration processes
  • Experience of dealing with the public

Desirable

  • Experience of working within an NHS Primary Care environment
  • Previous experience of using ABUHB systems (WCCIS)
