Job summary
Are you a Healthcare Support Worker interested in joining a highly motivated and award-winning team? Working within the general hospitals to support patients over the age of 65 with a mental health diagnosis.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work within the Responsive Hospital Support Team, as part of the Older Adult Psychiatric Liaison service. The Service is currently based between St Woolos and Nevill Hall Hospital.
The post will involve working with patients who have both functional and organic mental health diagnosis, in a general hospital setting, under the direction of Band 6 practitioners.
The service works in every general care facility within the ABUHB trust, and applicants will be required to move between sites as part of their role.
The hours of work 8:00 - 16:00 / 12:00 - 20:00 - Monday to Friday. 9:00 - 17:00 - Saturday to Sunday
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
