Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and conscientious Administration Officer / Support Secretary to join our admin team within Child and Family Psychology and Therapies Service.
We are looking for someone with proven excellent administration, communication and IT skills. You must have a good telephone manner with good organisational skills, flexible approach to meet the needs of the service and be able to work as part of a team and cope with pressures at busy times.
You must have an understanding of the principles of confidentiality due to nature of work.
A welcoming manner is essential as you will have direct contact with families and health professionals. This post is office based.
Main duties of the job
The duties of the post are all administration tasks to include:
Typing of letters, reports and other correspondence
To greet families and professionals on reception
To receive telephone calls and deal with telephone enquiries
To register referrals onto our information systems.
Attend meetings and taking minutes
Stationery orders as required.
Other duties relevant to post as required by line manager.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
