Job summary

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within The Digitised Health Records Services to be part of the team based at Online House, Cleppa Park in Newport. This is a new role within the service and you will need be able to lead and be responsible for sub projects which will enable the service to implement and increase the throughput of digitisation of Health Records to other departments and directorates.This is a busy but supportive team, and we are looking for individuals who have:o Excellent communication skillso Excellent organisational skillso Excellent attention to detailo Flexibility in working practiceso The ability to oversee and report on projectso The ability to work under pressure and to deadline

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for co-ordinating the scanning and digitisation of physical health records from across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Mental Health, Community, Family & Therapy service, and other services.
  • Overseeing and implementing agreed health record scanning plans within the Health Records Service.
  • Planning and allocating workloads.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely scanning of patient records into the Electronic Document Management System, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • The postholder will work to defined standards and operating procedures, Manager will be available for reference when required.
