An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager within the Health Boards Digital, Data & Technology Directorate, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).

As a member of the dynamic and innovative Digital, Data & Technology Directorate, you will be a member of the Digital Programmes team, initially focussing on the delivery of ePMA. Thiswill allow you to build on your current skills and experience and provide you with opportunities for personal and professional development.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from varying professions across the health board, other NHS and 3rd party organisation/suppliers. This will include the requirement to attend sites regularly, sometimes at short notice. If you are looking for a new challenge in a prosperous department then this roleis for you.
Main duties of the job
The Programme Manager will lead and manage a major initiative involving a number of complex digital projects aligned to the health boards annual objectives and IMTP (Integrated Medium-Term Plan). As a senior member of the programmes team, the Programme Manager will have day to day oversight of projects within the programme leading on the development of plans and programme documentation aligned to Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and PRINCE2 methodologies.
Working in a challenging environment, the programme manager will face a variety of competing priorities that will require a flexible and imaginative approach combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
The post holder will need extensive knowledge and expertise in programme management, business change and benefits management. We are looking for an individual with experience of delivering major digital transformation programmes.
