Job summary
There is a new exciting opportunity to work within the Finance Business Partnering Team that supports the Medicine Division of ABUHB.
We are excited to be able to offer this as a development opportunity for existing and experienced Finance staff in line with Annex 21 of the NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions. Applications will be accepted from those on final stages of their professional finance CCAB or CIMA qualification. Payment will be in line with Annex 21 i.e. 70% Band 7 in the first year and 75% Band 7 in the second year, subject to criteria within the development plan being met. Internal Band 6 staff taking up an annex 21 band 7 post would not suffer a detriment to their pay.
The role is based on the Royal Gwent Hospital site, with an opportunity to work in an agile manner across all the Health Board's sites and remotely. You will be the Finance lead responsible for several Directorates. Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Medicine Divisional Finance Team within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
The Finance team are responsible for providing high quality financial advice and support to budget holders within the Divisions of the organisation.
The post holder will be required to work closely with budget holders in order to understand and support the service in delivering on their financial obligations.
Post holders may be required to work across several Divisions depending on demand.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role: Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
