Registered Nurse - D3E
We are excited and proud to offer an opportunity to become part of our dynamic Surgical Nursing Team. We are looking for a Nurse who has initiative and a wide range of experience with an interest in surgery to work on our ward.
D3 East has 30 beds and is designed to provide a variety of surgical procedures and care to all our elective pathway surgical patients. As such, it offers excellent opportunities to expand your experience in surgical nursing and provides experience in treating a wide range of complex surgical condition such as Colorectal, Hepatobiliary, Gynae, and Oncology. It is a well led ward managed by a highly focused and friendly team of experienced nurses.
Main duties of the job
To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care using an agreed patient pathway.To act as a patient advocate through the application of ethical, legal and professional knowledge and skillsTo work within agreed policies and proceduresParticipate in relevant data collection for clinical trialsTo liaise and communicate with members of the multi-disciplinary team in the planning and delivery of patient care.To maintain accurate records / standards for documentation
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
