Job summary
The Dermatology Department are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated registered nurse to join the team. The Dermatology department is based at St Woolos Hospital in Newport where we run a variety of Dermatology Outpatient clinics and Skin Surgery lists
Main duties of the job
We are committed to exploring innovative ways of working to enhance the Dermatology patient experience. We know that our success depends on the commitment and dedication of our staff and we aim to recruit the best staff possible.
Our busy treatment rooms where we run dermatology surgical lists and see/treat lesion clinics run on weekdays with occasional weekend lists. There are also post-op wound dressing clinics daily for the more complex surgical wounds.
In addition, there are general dermatology outpatient clinics, patch test/contact dermatitis clinics, a weekly biologics clinic and day treatments.
The Dermatology Unit nursing team work closely with the General, Skin Cancer and Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist team and the Consultant Dermatologists.
