Job summary
We currently have full and part time vacancies for internal rotation Band 5 Registered Nurses in D2E/Urology Assessment unit at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. The posts provide a diverse range of care within the Division of Surgery, specifically Urology and the Urology Assessment Unit.
D2east is an emergency urology ward. The Urology Assessment Unit is next door and treats all urology patients in the trust with referrals from GPs, ED, SAU and District Nurses . Patients are assessed out or if admitted are housed on D2East. There will be opportunities once trained to work in the assessment unit as well as the ward

Main duties of the job
Division of Surgery has established and well organised wards with excellent performance in multi disciplinary working and discharge rates. The directorate is looking for enthusiastic and motivated nurses who are keen to pursue a career within Urology, and be part of our venture.
Candidates are required to be flexible and reliable in their approach to work. In return the directorate will demonstrate a commitment to both personnel and professional development to the successful candidate.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
