Job summary

As a Recovery Practitioner, you'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care for our patients. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality nursing care along the day case pathway and offering immediate post-operative care to adult patients undergoing various day surgery procedures in primary recovery.

Staff are expected to support other sites within the health board, when necessary, thus the successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility within their service

  2. Foster collaborative efforts with fellow professionals to optimise patient care outcomes
  3. Ensure the safe recovery of patients following surgical procedures
  4. Guide and assess learners to effectively meet their care objectives and standards
  5. Cultivate clear and accurate communication channels with the multidisciplinary team, relatives, and nursing staff
  6. Demonstrate proficiency in recognising and responding to emergency situations
