Job summary

We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within Discharge Lounge GUH.

We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you will need to have a flexible approach to work to take part in a full shift system including nights and weekend working.

Main duties of the job

The movement of patients stepping down, discharging or transferring between sites is key to the effective and efficient delivery of services and a positive patient experience.

The post holder will use their assessment and planning skills to provide the highest quality evidence based nursing care to our patients. The tasks carried out will be at the highest standard in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct. They will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of their patients and provide support to their colleagues. The post holder will be able to demonstrate the Health Boards Values and Behaviours.
