Job summary
An number of exciting opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join the Newport Community Resource Team (CRT) as Support Workers - Reablement. Newport CRT is a multi-disciplinary service provided by Aneurin Bevan Health Board and Newport Social Services.
The CRT provides support to adults, over the age of 18 living in Newport who want to stay independent, within their own homes. The team comprises of an Intermediate Care Consultant, Specialty Doctor, Rapid Response Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Falls practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners Speech & Language Therapist Reablement Technicians and Support Workers.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a team providing a person centered approach with Reablement Therapies and Care service working in people's own homes and will support the assessment and provision of therapeutic interventions and activities for each individual.
Previous experience of working with people in a care delivery capacity is desirable.All posts are subject to an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
