We have exciting new Apprentice Administrator positions across our services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and achieve a Modern Apprentice Level 2 qualification in Business Admin or Digital Application Support (qualification to be confirmed depending on role). There are opportunities within a variety of our services.

The job description attached will give you an overview of the tasks you will be trained to undertake by the end of the Apprenticeship.

You will receive a comprehensive induction, formal training and you will be provided with the support and guidance that you need to achieve success!

You will need to be dedicated to completing the NVQ/QCF L2 Apprenticeship in Business Admin or Digital Application Support for up to 16 months and have an interest in the Health Service.

Main duties of the job

Summary of the job

As an apprentice administrator you will:

  • Earn a salary while studying
  • Gain job specific skills, knowledge and behaviours
  • Have regular pastoral support and personal development reviews
  • Gain knowledge of administration processes in the Health Board
  • Provide administration support across varying teams and services
  • Receive training and gain knowledge on NHS electronic systems
  • Gain experience within the NHS and understand the structure and different services delivered to our local community.

You will be helping to provide a first class administration service to members of the public, patients and colleagues across the Health Board.

This role is fixed term for 16 months as it is an apprenticeship.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
