Job summary

NHS Wales is undergoing a Digital Transformation programme. Adopting Intelligent Automation is one of many exciting digital changes underway in Wales. The product specialist will be part of a team that delivers automations using Blue Prism Cloud to the health board. Automations must be delivered in a supportive way to operational and clinical service provision and deliver benefits to health board functions, ensuring we realise value from the health board's investment in Blue Prism Cloud.

You will need be an excellent communicator and influencer, allowing you to build and maintain strong relationships within Informatics, and with the wider Health Board as well as play an active role in the adoption of Intelligent Automation across ABUHB and NHS Wales, and work collaboratively with 3rd party suppliers.

As part of this role you may be required to participate in a department on call rota dealing with potential automation incidents.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the Integration Service under the supervision of the Integration & RPA Managero Lead in supporting and implementing Intelligent Automationo Develop policies and procedures for the RPA Service within the Health Boardo Planning & organising delivery and maintenance of automations within the RPA programme.o Preparing reports and demonstrating compliance, risks and issues to give health board assurance.

RPA Delivery Plans and organises delivery of automations within the RPA programme. Contributes to the RPA programme, a long term strategic solution which has impact on the whole health board. Ensure knowledge (e.g. SharePoint, published documentation etc.) is reviewed and updated. Identification of risks and issues to the RPA Service. Prepare reports and demonstrate compliance, risks and issues to give health board assurance. Responsible for the proper implementation of the Health Boards RPA Development Standards Responsible for maintaining data integrity, confidentiality and availability through best practice Keeps up to date on legislation and national programme Develops RPA policies and procedures that help deliver effective automations. Communicates detailed technical information relating to Blue Prism Cloud to Informatics Staff Interprets organisational business requirements and translates this into functional requirements within the Blue Prism Cloud product set. Participates in the Informatics Change Advisory Board. Represents Informatics department national meetings Negotiate, motivate and influence teams to achieve effective use of Blue Prism Cloud and its product set. Analyse and communicate complex technical information to non-ICT staff.
