Job summary
The heart failure nursing service is looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking nurse to join our inpatient and outpatient heart failure service. We are a team of nurses that cover the whole of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and you would be required to travel between sites. The service currently provides a mix of face to face and virtual assessments and we work closely with cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation services.
The service has a strong patient centred approach where we embed Patient Reported outcomes into care and endeavour to offer a value based service.
It is a fast paced environment that requires an individual to be able to work as part of a team but also be able to make independent decisions. As a service we embrace change and welcome new ideas and thoughts, and would be looking for these qualities in an individual.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
Draw on advanced highly specialist knowledge and exercise professional skills of the highest standard to act as an autonomous practitioner to investigate, assess, plan and provide highly specialised advanced care and management for patients with heart failure.
This will require the ability to make critical judgements and decision making in areas where precedents may not exist
