Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual, to join the Diabetes & Endocrinology Department at Nevill Hall Hospital. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills.
This role is a Back-up Medical Secretary/Administration. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible to the needs of the service andable to demonstrate a commitment to achieving high quality standards of work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as you will liaise with staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
To provide medical, secretarial and administrative service to Consultants and their Teams, including covering duties of the medical secretaries as required.
Typing of clinics, answering telephone calls, scanning and filing and general admin work & reception cover in the Diabetes Centre.
Providing support to the Medical Secretary's.
This post is fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
