Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Planning Deputy Lead Nurse role, Band 6.
Based at the Grange Hospital the post will support the work of the Civil Contingencies and Emergency Planning team across the Health Board.
Working with services to prepare, plan, teach and exercise to manage or mitigate emergency and adverse events.
Main duties of the job
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM STAFF CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY ANEURIN BEVAN UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD
Work as a key part of the Civil Contingencies and Emergency Planning team to build and maintain resilience in all aspects of emergency preparedness by developing existing arrangements and working with others to create new plans as required, to include ensuring regular training, testing and exercising of plans.
Work across the Health Board, services and departments to support the organisation to meet the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act (2004).
Work with partners in the Local Resilience Forum (LRF) and Wales wide to development interdependent plans, and support collaborative working.
